Then I remembered a recording from Waking Up (an amazing meditation app) and it completely shifted my perspective. The recording revolved around a simple but profound question: Were you really expecting to have no problems at some point in your life? It hit me like a ton of bricks. My frustration and complaints implied I thought problems were anomalies—like they were interruptions to life, not a part of it. But here's the truth: life is solving problems. Think about it. Would you really want to wake up one day with no problems at all? Sure, it might sound great for a week (hello, all-inclusive Caribbean vacation!), but day after day? It would get dull fast.
